Back to School With Tog24: Duggan Kids Waterproof Jacket Review [Ad]

We’re now halfway through the summer holidays, which means we’re now starting to think about school preparation. It’s pretty hard to believe that we’ve already had three weeks off. With the current heatwave the UK is currently going through, I’m not quite ready for it to end!

There’s something about choosing a new school coat and shoes that signifies the end of summer.

That being said, the process couldn’t have been easier, and we’re delighted to be sharing with you T’s choice of coat this year. We’ve worked with Tog24 before when T received a jacket for school, and we’re chuffed to bits to be working with them again.

Duggan Kids Waterproof Jacket

Tog24 have always been a great place to look for children’s all-weather wear, especially their selection of coats and jackets. For years we’ve been using Tog24 for not only school coats but also other other winter-wear. From waterproof trousers and puddle suits, to fleeces and other base layers.

As always, we offer T a number of options when it comes to choosing his clothes and coats are no exception to the rule. This year, T went with the Duggan Kids Waterproof Jacket.

Based on a ‘retro’ style parka, the coat boasts a signature faux fur-trimmed hood as well as plenty of pockets for old apple cores and half a pair of gloves.

Other features:

  • 5K waterproof, 5K breathable, windproof
  • Dry-look fabric
  • Synthetic fill for warmth (without the weight!)
  • Detachable faux fur trim to hood
  • Invisible, water repellent coating
  • Two lower patch pockets, two lower pockets, one chest pocket, one sleeve pocket
  • Reflective trim for added visibility in the dark
  • Inner stretch rib cuffs
  • Name label inside
  • Rubber badge to sleeve

The coat celebrates both comfort and style, making it perfect for autumnal walks AND playground fun. It offers both a smart and casual look, whilst also remaining warm and lightweight at the same time. In comparison to more ‘traditional’ parkas, it’s so much lighter.

T likes being warm in the winter, but he still wants his coat to offer some room to jump, run and climb. This coat offers that, and from our perspective it also looks smart for the school-run.

From a practical point, we love the amount of pockets on offer. As well as the typical pockets found on the main body (although these pockets have two compartments per pocket!) there’s pockets on the cuff as well. There’s also lots of other handy features such as a name label and the fur hood lining is removable.

We’re really pleased with the Duggan Kids Waterproof Jacket by Tog24 and look forward to keeping T warm this autumn and winter. The Duggan Kids Waterproof Jacket is currently under £50 (down from £100!) therefore bag yourself a bargain this summer.
