Getting a Good Sleep with Simba’s Hybrid Duvet! [AD]

This week, we were sent the new Simba Hybrid® Duvet; a luxurious 10.5 Tog duvet that is suitable for use all year round.
I’ve never been a massive fan of Winter (unless I’m in a Nordic Country enjoying Fika!), but I’ve always made do as long as I have a good duvet to see me through chilly nights! What I thought was a relatively mild end to the year has now turned into quite a shock to the system in terms of temperature.
No more stuffy mornings!
Using Renew Bio™ fill technology, Simba ensures wonderful, down-like softness and warmth, whilst also offering breathability for that fresher feeling as you sleep. With Simba’s Stratos® temperature control tech on one side, any excess heat is long gone in the summer whilst remaining strong in the winter.
Made from recycled PET bottle fibres; gently combed into soft, airy layers, the feeling – compared with traditional luxury down – is so much better and adapts as you sleep. The technology reacts to your body heat (even with a cover on!) making for a comfortable night’s sleep. For optimum temperature control, make sure the Stratos® side is closest to your body as you sleep!
What’s in the bag?
The Simba Hybrid® Duvet comes in four different sizes; Single (135 x 200cm), Double (200 x 200cm), King (225 x 220cm) and Super King (260 x 220cm) and the “plain” side is 100% cotton. Our duvet is King size.
When your Simba Hybrid Duvet arrives, it will come in a storage bag made from recycled materials – which is a welcome sight in comparison to the usual plastic bags you get! The duvet is machine washable and is stitched into lots of smaller squares, which means the issue of clumping is no more thanks to some clever designing. Simba have also added a QR code to a label on the duvet for easy access to recycling and care advice. Not only that, but they’ve popped another handy label at the foot end of the duvet, so you’ll always know which way round it goes when putting your covers on.
In terms of their cotton, Simba are part of the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), a not-for-profit organisation which makes global cotton production better for the people who produce it and the environment it grows in. Better Cotton is not physically traceable to end products, but BCI farmers benefit from the demand for Better Cotton in equivalent volumes to those sourced.
Although I probably don’t get enough of it, sleep is incredibly important. It’s, therefore, vital we use the best tools of the trade. We are really impressed with our Simba Hybrid Duvet so far, and we look forward to how it adapts in the summer!
Is your duvet in need of a refresh? Do you get enough sleep? What are our thoughts on the hybrid duvet? Let us know!
We were sent a Hybrid Duvet by Simba in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts, opinions and imagery (apart from those credited) are our own.
