Gorgeous night in London with the best company.

It may have been a fleeting visit, but that didn't stop us making the most out of our time. I experienced my first @dishoom and we saw the brilliant Dawn French at The Palladium. We had a couple of drinks and even came home with a plant. 👍

And now back to reality.

(I'm absolutely obsessed with Carnaby Street, especially when it's completely empty at 06:30 in the morning - can't wait for the lights to go up in a few weeks).

Nothing calms me more than when I'm at the beach or walking alongside a river, and drinking water does wonders for your physical and mental well-being (as long as you remember!).

Unfortunately, with summers predicted to get hotter and drier, there's a real worry that the South East could face water shortages as early as 2030. There really is no infinite supply of water, therefore now more than ever we need to work together to reduce our water waste so that we have plenty to go around. Not just for us, but for our wildlifez farmland and green spaces.

Over the next few weeks, and working in collaboration with @southernwater, I'll be sharing tips on ways you can save water (and a few quid!) around the home.

Summer '23 ☀️

I was going to post this last night, but we decided to soak up the last remaining hours of the school summer holidays, because this one - despite the weather - really was 👌👌👌. This morning's wake up certainly dragged me back to reality!

One Second Every Day: August ☀️

Although it has been our busiest month this year, it has also been the most chaotic. The juggle has been real, folks. When we've spent time exploring, travelling, socialising and partying, we've explored, travelled, socialised and partied HARD. But, when we've rested or merely done the square route of naff all, we've done just that.👌

This is why you'll likely see a few gaps in the timeline this month!

At first I was a little disappointed that I'd not been consistent, but then I reminded myself that capturing these little moments is meant to be "fun" and not a chore or a job. The last thing I wanted to (or should) be doing was scrambling around at 23:59 trying to record something for that day. No no no. This is for us, after all, and nobody else. So, as much as it goes against my perfectionist ways, if I missed a day so be it. Plus, I should be pretty proud of getting to month eight before finding gaps in the timeline. Anyone who knows me knows that I find falling into a proper routine difficult; so I'm taking this as a win. 👍

In fact, looking through this month; gaps, warts and all, it actually reflects this month perfectly: absolute chaos. 😂
