With Christmas around the corner, we’re always on the hunt for little ‘stocking fillers’ for the toddler. From little toys to books, we always on the look out for bargain fillers.
Find Me A Gift
FindMeAGift.co.uk is a website for finding gifts for any occasion and any member of the family. There’s also an added bonus of being able to personalise the gifts too! Whether it’s printing the recipients name on the gift, or adding a finishing touch – such as a personal message – there will be something for someone.
Last week, I was invited to personalise two books for the toddler; Peter Rabbit: Little Guide to Life and a Thomas the Tank Engine book.
Please note: I have edited the images slightly to remove T’s full name. His name on all pages featured is perfectly printed.
I chose the Peter Rabbit book as I thought it linked nicely back to our holiday to the Lake District, and I chose the Thomas book, well, because we all know T is mad on Thomas the Tank Engine! Plus, the artwork took me back to when I was a child as all my Thomas books looked just like this!
Both books come in a gorgeous cream textured box that comes with a perfectly sized insert to store and protect the book.
Personalisation
Exploring the books, I saw every detail has been added to make the book personal to the person. In the Peter Rabbit book, T’s name was placed at the top of each page as if it was part of the header. Based on the stories by Beatrix Potter, the book takes you through different tales based on subjects such as morals or commons sense.
In the Thomas the Tank Engine book, which takes us through the story of the ‘Really Useful Engine’, T’s name was placed at the top of each page, again as part of the header.
We also added a personal message at the front of both books.
Both books are hardbacks and the pages are good quality. What I loved about them is that despite being brand new, they looked old and vintage at the same time. The Thomas book is a reproduction from the original Rev. Awdry’s railway series, and the Beatrix Potter series features original artwork, and tales from Peter Rabbit, Mrs Tiggy-Winkle, and Gemima Puddleduck, plus more.
The website itself is easy to use. When arranging the personalisation of both books, all I had to do is enter T’s name and then our message for the front. The items came a few days later and were well packaged. It really was hassle free.
I’d certainly recommend having a browse on Find Me A Gift to find a gift for someone. There’s a huge variety of gifts available, whether it’s for a certain occasion or a special (or difficult!) person.
Disclosure: We were sent two personalised books from Find Me A Gift worth £24.99 each in exchange for an honest review of the service and product, however all thoughts, opinions, and images are our own.
Please note: All prices mentioned were correct at the time of writing.
