![[AD] A few weeks ago, we had the joy of travelling to the north of France with @dfdsuk to explore a number of French beaches. Even now, we're still talking about it.
If it wasn't the crystal clear waters and warm sandy beaches, it was exploring some of the most beautiful French towns and villages. I can't believe all of this was on our doorstep. Some were even walking distance from the port!
After living on the coast all this time it's actually shameful that we haven't done this sooner. It was super easy travelling from Brighton to Dover and hopping on a ferry to Calais. It only took two hours to get to Dover and then another two to get to Calais. The way home from Dieppe to Newhaven, whilst a bit longer, was just as smooth and got us home safely with only a short drive once we arrived back at the port.
We're already planning our next trip with #DFDS, although this time we're thinking about travelling from Newcastle to Amsterdam!
